What you’ll be doing You’ll lead the overall technology function, balancing strategic vision with hands-on leadership across engineering, architecture, product delivery, and platform scalability. This role will see you driving modern technology practices, strengthening operational resilience, and ensuring the business can scale efficiently as transaction volumes and regional partnerships continue to grow. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with commercial priorities while creating an environment where engineering teams can deliver high-quality, secure, and innovative financial products. You’ll also oversee the evolution of platform architecture, product development processes, and technical operations across geographically distributed teams. Your background
Proven experience leading technology organisations within fintech, payments, or financial services
Strong expertise in software engineering, distributed systems, and scalable platform architecture
A track record of delivering large-scale technology programmes in fast-paced environments
Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and modern engineering practices
Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional technical teams across multiple regions
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align technology decisions to business outcomes
Background in remittance, payments, or cross-border transaction platforms would be highly advantageous
Degree-qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
