Chief Technology Officer | Manufacturing & AI TransformationBuild the technology function. Shape the future of manufacturing.
Some CTO roles ask you to optimise what's already there. This one asks you to create what comes next. We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing group embarking on a significant technology transformation. With operations spanning 14 production facilities across Thailand, the business has reached a pivotal moment—investing in technology, AI and smart manufacturing to unlock the next phase of growth and operational excellence.
As the organisation's first Chief Technology Officer, you'll have the rare opportunity to build the technology capability from the ground up. Reporting directly to the owner and working as part of the executive leadership team, you'll define the technology vision, establish the internal function, and lead the transition from a predominantly outsourced model to a modern, high-performing technology organisation.
Your focus won't simply be maintaining IT. You'll develop the roadmap that connects digital technology with manufacturing performance, identifying where AI, automation, connected factory technologies and modern enterprise platforms can deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality and operational efficiency. From modernising legacy systems and shaping cloud strategy through to building data capabilities and enabling smarter factory operations, you'll have the autonomy to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day execution.
Success in the first year will be measured by the strength of the team you build, the technology foundations you establish and the early business outcomes your transformation programme begins to deliver.
We're looking for an experienced technology leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You'll be equally comfortable presenting a long-term vision to senior stakeholders as you are working alongside technical teams to turn that vision into reality. Experience leading digital transformation within complex manufacturing environments will be highly valued, alongside exposure to AI, Industry 4.0, enterprise technology, cloud platforms and modern data architectures. Oracle ERP experience is beneficial but not essential.
Most importantly, you'll bring curiosity, commercial awareness and the ability to inspire confidence across both business and technical teams while building a culture that embraces innovation.
This is a confidential search offering a highly competitive package, performance bonus and the backing of an organisation committed to investing in technology. For the right leader, it represents a genuine opportunity to leave a lasting legacy by building a modern technology function that will shape the future of the business for years to come.
Location: Bangkok HQ, with travel across Thailand as required.
