The work
You’ll be the technical lead on customer rollouts, paired with a project manager. That means pinning down requirements in workshops, turning them into specs, configuring the system and getting every release ready for customer testing. You’ll guide customers through to pilot and live, separate configuration problems from real bugs, and keep integrations with ERP and back-office systems running. Expect busy release cycles, some time onsite and occasional overtime.
What you’ve probably already done
Worked hands-on with POS in retail.
Used SQL to investigate data and track down faults.
Come up through software development, engineering or implementation.
Run sessions with customers and explained technical detail to people who aren’t technical.
Supported testing and production releases.
Bonus points if you’ve supported POS across a large store network.
Where you’ll sit
A professional services team supporting retail customers across Asia Pacific, with consultants based in Bangkok. Projects vary a lot from one customer to the next, so you get more say in how a solution is shaped than you would running the same rollout on repeat. Strong spoken English matters, because customers and colleagues are spread across the region.
