Senior HR Manager
Bangkok, Thailand | Hybrid Working | THB 130,000 - 150,000+ per month
Are you an HR professional who enjoys influencing business decisions just as much as solving people challenges on the ground?
A growing international business is looking for a Senior People Business Partner to take a leading role in shaping its people agenda in Thailand. With a workforce of approximately 300 employees locally and close connections to regional leadership, this is an opportunity to influence how an expanding organisation develops, supports and retains its people.
This is a broad HR leadership position combining strategic business partnering with practical responsibility for the employee experience. You'll work closely with senior managers, helping them navigate organisational challenges while ensuring people practices remain effective, consistent and aligned with local employment requirements.
Where you'll make a difference
You'll become a trusted adviser to business leaders, helping them make informed decisions around workforce planning, performance, organisational development and talent retention.
A significant part of your role will involve coaching managers through people-related challenges, strengthening leadership capability and addressing sensitive employee matters with sound judgement. You'll also take ownership of local initiatives designed to improve engagement, communication and the overall working environment.
Alongside the strategic side, you'll maintain oversight of the employee lifecycle, from joining arrangements and internal movements through to exits. You'll use workforce information and HR reporting to identify patterns, highlight potential issues and help leadership make better people decisions.
You'll also work closely with regional HR leadership outside Thailand, contributing to wider initiatives while ensuring they are practical and appropriate for the local workforce.
What we're looking for
You'll bring at least five years of broad HR experience, ideally with exposure to a growing organisation where priorities evolve and solutions aren't always readily available.
You should be confident advising senior stakeholders while remaining comfortable dealing with operational detail. Strong knowledge of Thai employment legislation and employee relations is essential, as is experience across areas such as performance management, workforce planning, engagement and organisational development.
We're looking for someone who communicates confidently in English, can build credibility across different levels of an organisation and understands how to engage a diverse workforce. Experience leading or developing other HR team members would be advantageous.
You'll need to be analytical, approachable and comfortable taking ownership without constant direction.
Why consider this opportunity?
You'll have meaningful influence over the local people agenda, direct exposure to regional leadership and the opportunity to shape HR practices within an organisation that continues to develop and expand.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to move beyond transactional HR and play a more influential role in business performance and organisational culture.
Location: Bangkok, with a hybrid arrangement of three office days and two work-from-home days per week.
Compensation: Budgeted base salary of THB 130,000 - 150,000 per month, with potential flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
