This is an opportunity to join the founding AI engineering team in Thailand for a major global consulting and technology organisation. You’ll combine hands-on AI engineering with technical leadership, helping enterprise clients turn ambitious GenAI ideas into production systems while influencing how the local capability develops.
You’ll join at an early stage in Thailand, giving you genuine influence over how the engineering capability, delivery approach and team evolve.
You’ll work on enterprise-scale AI and GenAI programmes, taking solutions beyond prototypes and into real-world production environments.
You’ll gain regional exposure, collaborating with established engineering and technology teams across Asia.
You’ll operate at the intersection of AI engineering, architecture, consulting and business strategy, rather than being confined to a narrow technical remit.
You’ll work directly with senior client stakeholders and the Thailand MD, giving you significant visibility and scope to influence.
You’ll receive a THB 300k–400k monthly salary plus a strong performance-related bonus, alongside a hybrid working model.
You’ll take ownership of complex AI initiatives from technical direction through to deployment, translating business problems into scalable solutions that can operate reliably in enterprise environments. You’ll remain close to the technology while leading multidisciplinary teams, advising senior stakeholders and helping clients make informed decisions around AI adoption. You’ll also contribute to the growth of the Thailand practice, supporting new opportunities and helping establish strong engineering standards as the local team expands.
You’ll bring substantial experience designing and delivering production AI/ML and GenAI solutions, ideally within complex enterprise environments.
You’ll have strong knowledge of LLMs and agent-based AI architectures, with exposure to commercial or open-source model ecosystems.
You’ll be highly capable with Python and comfortable across modern software engineering; experience with technologies such as React, JavaScript or TypeScript is valuable.
You’ll understand production infrastructure including CI/CD, data platforms and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
You’ll have experience leading technical projects and people while communicating effectively with senior, non-technical stakeholders.
You’ll be comfortable in a consulting-style environment where you’ll balance engineering depth, client relationships and commercial priorities, including regional travel when required.
